1.Battery drains faster after 4.0 os update

In the camera front selfi photos have no details while taking group selfies. Only main selfi taker having details
Also portraits have less details afyer 4.0 os update
Three lens have different colour science and different clarity, details
Photos and videos are not have natural eye looking colours
In the video recording,1x,2x,0.6x switching is not smooth
Photos with yellow forground are totally blunder to human skin tones
There no option of taking document image in the camera app
There is no hotspot data limit and only 2.4 ghz band
There is no daily data usage report

It’s been almost one month since the update, and the battery drain issue is still not fixed.

Before this update, I only needed to charge my phone once a day. Now, I have to charge it more than twice a day, even with normal use. This has seriously affected my daily routine and overall experience.

Honestly, this is very frustrating. A battery problem is a critical issue, but it feels like the focus is on less important features, like apps such as Essential Space, instead of fixing something as basic and important as battery life.

Many users are facing the same problem. Please make battery optimization a top priority and release a fix as soon as possible.

RaunakDaga update regarding this guys so day before yesterday i went to app optimisation and found that it was not 100% so went ahead and completed the app optimisation it did not take much time but after that this bluetooth glitch was gone so i figured out what used to happen suppose earphones/headphones are connected to your phone and while turning it off you swipe down the notification centre so it glitched out mid animation so that was fixed after the app optimisation process i also restarted the phone after app optimisation so that is it it’s been 2 days no issues so far thought to give a quick update to you guys

Dear Support Team,

I am facing a severe battery drain issue on my CMF Phone 2 Pro after installing the recent system update.

Device received and installed the update:

Nothing OS 4.0 (Galaga-B4.0-260108-1654-IND)

After installing this update, the battery is draining much faster than before. The battery percentage drops rapidly even with light usage, and sometimes it decreases noticeably during idle time as well.

This issue was not present before the update. I have attached a screenshot of the update notification for your reference. I have also checked background apps and basic battery settings, but the problem still persists.

Kindly check if this is a software-related issue introduced in the update and let me know if any fix, patch, or troubleshooting steps are available. I would appreciate your support in resolving this issue at the earliest.

Mine is refresh rate is dynamic from the start.

Before the 4.0 update my overnight battery darin was max 5% . But now after the update overnight battery drains 15-20%.

For the past week, since installing the latest system update on my phone, I haven’t been able to make or receive any phone calls.
Buying the CMF Nothing 2 Pro phone was the biggest mistake of my life. If I can’t make phone calls, then this phone is nothing more than a toy.

I have tried almost everything, including:

Turning Airplane Mode on and off
Removing and reinserting the SIM card
Resetting SIM settings
Restarting the phone

Why not add an option to “do you want to disable x”? I’m talking about appservices, lock glimpse and meta services. Instead of going one by one, would be better if it’s asked when updated…

Besides, all of the problems with this new update makes me wonder why I should stay here. You’re not giving anything intersection, no customization, no basic features (like volume slide) or even battery optimization.

After recent update after Android 16 update phone become more lag and stutter in camera app as well as basic game like freefire.

The phone claims 120fps in bgmi but it doesn’t at least run the freefire smoothly.

Everything gone wrong after 16 update.

Look above in this thread. FPS issues are acknowledged by support and a fix is in the works. You cannot achieve greater than 60hz in any gaming application currently on any Nothing or CMF phone running NOS 4.0.

I’m more and more convinced that:

CMF users deserve the worst from them
Or they’re just not doing their work reviewing and testing each release.

But the more I keep listening, the more I’m towards 1 than 2. Maybe I’m wrong but… it just seems like they’re trying to fuck with the cheap ones, just to take care of the 3. And even 3 has serious bugs.
