Nothing plans for WhisperPair issue?

Hi, it seems this WhisperPair issue could affect a lot of BlueTooth gear.

Can Nothing confirm if its products are impacted, and if so, what plans it has to fix devices?

i have seen video on youtube by Seytonic saying that some accessories/headphones are vulnerable to google fast pair and the nothing ear a is vulnerable i have seen it in the website saying that its vulnerable to fix i have to update the software how do i do it ?

This is more on the manufacturer side because they did not properly implement fastpair.
“The only way to prevent WhisperPair attacks is to install a software patch issued by the manufacturer.”
The question is, what devices are vulnerable beside ear (a) and when those devices get patches.
@hrry do you have any insight other than linking the support page? The support guys most of the time unresponsive for a week or more.

victor_buscsei Lot of devices across all brands are impacted and they’ll indeed require a firmware update from brands to fix it, we don’t know about specific plans to address this issue yet, for now just check updates and update if a new one is found.

I have tested a few devices:
Nothing ear (a): Vulnerable (this was confirmed by the researchers)
Nothing ear (2024): Vulnerable
Nothing ear (open): Vulnerable
CMF Buds 2: Vulnerable
I have also reported this on the support page.
I would like to see this fixed asap.
