Have my Phone (2) now since august 2023. I charge it with a 65w GaN by ReVolt, which can deliver up to 3A on 5/9/12/20 volts via PD.
Lately the battery keeps getting hotter while loading, the battery monitor app says 35°c up to 40°, at 9v/3A.
I’m a bit worried.
For the record: gps is off, bluetooth on and my galaxy watch 5 pro is connected to it, charging it over night usually.
40°© is normal at fast charging, Don’t worry. The device reaches 35 to 42°© and after reaching certain charge point the temperature decreases. Also ambient temperature or room temperature also plays a major role in overheating of the device while charging. Try to use Original Charger.
Hello Everyone, My phone is getting hot like 39-40°C while just charging it normally. And it is also getting hot indoors while just on wifi and using YouTube or scrolling on twitter. And while gaming like it’s normal for phone to get warm but this phone get’s really warm like Processor goes like 40-45°C and then it doesn’t cool until i remove the case and turn on airplane mode. I usually just play Minecraft for 1-2 hrs And for those who know about Minecraft ( i have set my render distance to like minimum possible and tuned of fancy graphics and stuff) Still it runs hot. Is anyone too having such issues?.
It’s quite normal for the phone to heat during charging, it mostly depends on ambient temperature, place it on a cool surface to keep the temperature under control. Phone should not be placed on bed or anything related to clothes should be avoided! It’ll increase the temps drastically!
35 to 42 °c !! If this is the case then it should be 50 to 60 °c in 120w charges 
it’s not a joke think about it 35 to 42 °c is so extreme
