Anonymous1235 I find it interesting that the update notes state explicitly that the update may cause increased battery usage immediately after the update is applied, and yet many users seem to have taken to the forums in a panic because the update is causing the anticipated behaviour.
I have found that after a few days following an update being applied, if I let my phone’s battery run down to 0% to the extent that it shuts down, and then, with the power off, plug the phone into a decent charger (ideally 65W) until at least 20 minutes after the battery is fully charged before disconnecting it from the charger and switching it on, I have much better battery life.
I am getting close to 2 days of average usage.
