I’m facing a consistent and reproducible call audio bug on CMF Phone 1, present since Nothing OS 3.0 and still continuing on Nothing OS 4.0.
Issue description:
During calls, audio randomly gets distorted / cuts out.
This happens both:
• while using CMF Buds 2 (Bluetooth)
• and sometimes even on normal earpiece.
To temporarily fix it, I have to:
• switch the call to speaker,
• then back to earpiece or Bluetooth,
• only then the audio becomes clear again.
Important observations:
• This is NOT a CMF Buds 2 hardware issue.
~~> I have:
• reset the buds multiple times
• re-paired Bluetooth
• updated firmware
• tested interference-free environments
• The issue still happens daily.
When I record the same disturbed call, the recording sounds clear — which strongly suggests this is an OS-level audio routing / Bluetooth stack bug, not hardware.
Resetting buds or Bluetooth gives temporary or no relief.
