I’ve just bought this CMF Phone 1 less than two days ago and I have some concerns.
First, is it normal for the screen to be not as black as the bezels surrounding it when it’s off? It’s greyish when the screen is off at multiple angles. This is rather uncharacteristic for an AMOLED display, it looks more like an LCD display (even though it is for sure an AMOLED). Even my Xiaomi phone with an LCD screen has better blacks when it’s off. My Moto G Stylus 2025, which also has an AMOLED display, has near indistinguishable blacks.
Secondly, the pinhole camera is ever so slightly off. I will attach pictures of all of this for reference. Look at the right edge. There are no screen protectors, and I’ve removed the factory installed one as well.
Third, the screen responsiveness is very weird. For micro-movements and micro-scrolling (or even scrolling in general), it doesn’t respond as well as the other AMOLED devices I’ve used. It’s somewhat inconsistent (it’s sometimes fine and sometimes not) and kind of “sluggish” for the lack of a better word (or it lags behind just by a bit before responding). Even when typing this, when I have to scroll little by little, I can feel it.
