I am waiting for next S25+ from Samsung, which may get a Sony 200Mp camera and an Exynos S2500 chip. Because though the camera in the Nothing has Sony hardware, software is far from getting the best out of the hardware and when Nothing has not been able to improve camera performance since July last year I doubt they are putting much effort into that. A Nothing phone is only special because of the strange led on the back of the phone. And that was not why I bought it.

    You tried the GCAM App as alternative for your Phone 2? On Phone 1 I use the Nothing Camera and Gcam.

        Had an S series Samsung or maybe it was a Samsung Note once with Exynos, was really good. The Exynos 2400 was faster than than nr 2 of the beloved one in the Nothing phone and the Exynos 2500 will come with only 3nm chip where the Snapdragon 3 is thicker with 4 and thus using more battery power and probably also raise temperature more. Just read how some phones with the latest Snapdragon overheat.

        S25+ will cost more than the Nothing with a no good camera, but probably have one of the best SONY camera (that they sell to competition) in it and when the SONY hardware I read being in the Nothing Phone2 was a major reason for me to buying a phone from a new company it could mean that I believe that SONY make pretty good cameras. Have a video-camera from them around 20 years old and still taking really fine full HD movies and excellent pictures.

        No, and I will never use software written to another phone with another camera which is what you get when installing a GCAM as Google is not writing any camera software to Nothing. But that so many are using and trying out different GCAM possibilities only prove that the software Nothing has written to the hardware in the phone is very bad, and when they still have not tried to correct their poor software with 3 OS updates could imply that they are not interested in anything else than seeing if they are lucky that some will still buy their next model of a mishap of a phone.

          One thing for sure.

          Camera software is not among what they update.

          Probably some new blinking way for the glyph. That is all they can find out.

            Was there an update for camera software in the 2.5.11?

            Seems you have mostly same camera hardware as in Phone 2.

              Deare nothing 🙏! Please release a camera update for phone 2 & optimize it’s camera performance!

              While recording videos jitters are still presents! So not getting smoother & stabilized videos 🙂! Also audio capturing is very low while recording videos!

              Phone 2a getting more updates than phone 2😵‍💫

              BUGS:

              1. Frequently , while using 5G if there was a phone call , it automatically turns down to 4G right. But after the call it’s still in 4G , it doesn’t automatically switch back to 5G. Facing this issue very very very frequently. Have to enable flight mode and disable it solve the problem.
              2. The dynamic refresh rate should be optimised better , there is some lag here and there while scrolling.

              Cook the food too long and it will get burned. Never tried to cook for 8 days though.

              By the way, just got the February security update; a week before the month is called April.
