AI altered photos when taking pictures - help

I took a few pictures in dimmer lighting (because that’s the lighting I wanted), followed by then checking the photos to find they were

1. Significantly brightened 2. Because the photos were dark the lack of info was very heavily auto filled, AI artifacts all over the gaf.

Is this normal? If so can this be disabled?

Try using expert mode and manually dial in your exposure or use the exposure compensation and lock it to the area you’d like to take as the exposure reference and set it to under expose.

To my knowledge you can’t fully disable all AI enhancements anymore. By telling your phone how you want to lighting to look however, you can at least counter some of it.

Same happened to me today and the result was awful. Clearly phones from 5 years ago where more capable of giving good shots because it was RELIABLE. Today it’s AI slop or AI wonders. I prefear reliability.
