Hey, so the RTOS system which powers Amazfit/Zepp and Pebble, allows for third party apps to be sent to watch. Watch 1,2,3 uses the same foundation.
While I am not a developer/programmer I wanted to ask the question, or pose the possibility.
Is this the goal with CMF legacy or current wearable watch devices?
While phone widgets are great, on a home screen, android means there are numerous apps to complete tasks AND google’s Gemini or whatever personal assistant being used can geberally fill any simple tasks gaps.
HOWEVER. to have dedicated and personal apps on wrist and on your person…. That’s a game changer… does the square focus on home screen phone widgets translate to being runnable on CMF watches? Is this likely to progress to this?
I think there were A LOT of people I the community that felt watch 1 and watch 2 were doomed on arrival. Watch 3 has had good updates… but being able to give community members access to and ability to port custom (essential playground style) apps to watches would be a game changer. The past hardware can live on into the future with super personalisation.
Just a thought ….and request.
