abstractethic I agree to you that there are lots of clocks but stopping them or limiting them is not a good way. And as you said everyone has their own preference of clock so yes everyone has right to create anything they wish and you should not limit them.
I think a better way to handle this is to ask Nothing to add classification of widgets based on category or tags ( such as clocks, notes, games etc ) , this will help to categories things in better and clean way.
