abstractethic Not particularly, for example I am one of those NP3 owners and Nothing fans who actually still prefers the glyph light interface over the new matrix. Because it still gives manages giving me a certain amount of information in a different style while being something else than just another screen.
To take another example: I mostly wear digital (dumb-)watches, like Casio or Timex. Why? Because I enjoy the different, even limited display technology they are using over again another 0815 glass display on my wrist. Of course you could just download a clockface to make it mimic something like a Casio F-91 or even AE-1200, but it still is something completely different.
I appreciate the limitation and uniquenexx certain technologies have to offer, while giving me pretty much all information *I* need. The glyph interfaces, regardless of matrix or lights, for me in a weird way both blended seamless into the design, almost invisible when not active, while really standing out when needed.
