Camera artifact in blurred areas – Phone (4a Pro)

Hi, I’m using Nothing Phone (4a Pro). In some photos, especially in blurred background areas, I’m noticing small green/purple spots or patchy artifacts. It doesn’t happen in every shot.

I tested:

Cleaned lens

Tried different lighting

Used different modes

Still appears occasionally.

Is this a known software processing issue (HDR/AI), or should I be concerned about hardware? Anyone else facing this or

found a fix?

Interesting, I have reported similar issues with the Nothing Phone 3 camera processing algorithm back in November 2025, here: https://nothing.community/d/37113-phone-3-camera-discussionfeedback/65

It looks like they did not fix these issues yet. I would suggest you report it to the team ASAP and follow up with them by providing logs and screenshots if requested.
