I would like to report a serious issue with the Camera app on my Nothing Phone (4a) Pro running Nothing OS 4.1 (latest version).
The Camera app has become extremely unstable and is affected by multiple bugs and glitches. Initially, the camera opens normally, but after taking one photo, the shutter button becomes completely unresponsive. Tapping the capture button does nothing, and no photo is taken. The only way to capture another photo is to force close the Camera app and reopen it. Unfortunately, the same issue occurs again after almost every photo, making the camera nearly unusable.
Another major issue is that the rear camera frequently fails to work in third-party apps that require camera access. Since I rely on these apps for work, this problem is significantly affecting my daily tasks.
Today, the issue became even worse. The Camera app opens only to a completely black screen, and none of the camera controls or options are clickable. The app freezes and becomes entirely unusable until it is force closed.
These issues are occurring very frequently and severely impact the basic functionality of the phone. A smartphone’s camera is one of its most essential features, and such critical bugs make the device unreliable for both personal and professional use.
Device Information:
