So it’s been almost a month using the Nothing Phone (4a), and I think now I can talk about it properly — not just first impressions, but real daily usage.
Starting with the design, this is something Nothing always does right. The transparent look, the minimal vibe, everything feels clean and different. And honestly, the pink color? I really loved it. It stands out in a very subtle way and doesn’t feel overdone.

The Glyph Bar is also something I was curious about. At first, it feels like just a cool design feature, but over time I did find it useful for small things like notifications. That said, I won’t say I used it all the time but it’s nice to have, but not something I depend on daily.

Coming to performance — the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen series processor, and for daily use, it feels smooth and reliable. Scrolling, switching apps, using camera, light editing — everything works without any major issues. But yes, if you push it with heavy gaming or intense multitasking, you can feel its limits. It’s clearly tuned more for stability than raw power.
The display is actually one of the strong points — AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, so everything feels fluid and vibrant. Watching content or just scrolling feels really smooth.
Performance has been mostly smooth for me.
Now coming to the camera. this is where my experience was a bit mixed.
In good lighting, the photos come out really nice. Sharp details, natural colors, and not overly processed, which I personally prefer because it looks more real and is better for editing

But something I noticed during regular use — there’s a visible color difference when switching between lenses. Sometimes the main camera gives a slightly whitish or washed-out look, while the telephoto captures much better and richer colors.
Also, a few times when I clicked photos quickly, some shots came out looking completely off — like the colors didn’t process properly. It doesn’t happen always, but when it does, it’s noticeable. So the camera is good, but not always consistent.

Battery life has been decent for me. With a 5000mAh+ battery, it easily lasts a full day on normal usage. Heavy usage will drain it faster, but that’s expected. Charging speed is fine — not super fast, but not slow either.
One thing I really appreciated over time is the Nothing OS experience. It’s clean, minimal, and doesn’t feel overloaded. No unnecessary apps or distractions — just a smooth and simple UI that actually makes daily use better.
After 28 days, I feel like this phone is not trying to impress everyone.
It’s more for someone who values design, a clean experience, and a phone that just works smoothly in daily life.
It’s not perfect, and I did notice a few things that could definitely be improved, especially in camera consistency.
But overall, I enjoyed using it.
And I think that says a lot.
