Recently I updated my nothing 4a pro to the latest software update with the March 2026 Security path and have noticed the nothing launcher to be laggy and glitchy. Especially while opening and closing apps. Animations are not fluid and its making the phone feel like a way more cheaper phone. Before this I had not noticed and problems with the phone. Btw I am also running the latest version of the nothing launcher available on the playstore. So I tried everything. Clearing cache, data, rebooting the phone, etc. All these could not fix the issue. Finally I figured out what was the probable cause for the issue. Its the icon pack. I use the nothing monochrome icon pack which comes default with the phone. That is probably the reason for the slowdown. I switched my icons back to colour the default ones and now it performs great. No lag, bo stutter. Is there a fix to having the same smooth performance while using the icon pack?
