I recently bought these headphones and I’m really happy with them overall. That said, I noticed two minor issues that, in my opinion, could potentially be resolved with a firmware update.
First, when I switch to Transparency mode, I hear a faint squeaking noise that’s best described as sounding like an old radio being tuned. This happens on both the default firmware and the latest version, 1.0.1.45.
Second, when I turn noise cancellation off completely, the EQ changes quite dramatically. The headphones seem to lose a lot of their low-end frequencies, which sounds very unusual.
Despite these issues, I still really like the headphones and hope these things can be improved in a future update.
