Nothing 4a or 4a pro - which to choose?

Hi Nothing community,

I’m planning to buy my first Nothing phone and I’m deciding between the Nothing Phone (4a) and the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro.

My usage is mostly:

- Podcasts

- YouTube / Netflix

- Reading ebooks

- No gaming

So I’m mainly looking for a good display, battery life, and a smooth, clean experience.

I’m a bit confused about whether the Pro version is actually worth the extra cost for this kind of usage. Would love to hear your thoughts.

Also, I tend to drop my phone occasionally, so I’m looking for case recommendations—preferably something protective with an armour or leather-style finish.

okay, i hope i can help you with my response. So that you know i have bought the 4a pro and it is my first nothing device. I would say for your usage the 4a is enough. The battery is the same on both devices and i would say that it holds a day of use. The speakers are the same and from my perspective they are good.
Some things which are better is the e-sim support which is only on the 4a pro. The matrix design is a good idea but not good enough at the moment worth an upgrade . The OS is smooth and clean and looks amazing.

4a is perfect. But if you want to save money, then 3a and 3a pro are at your disposal.
