As a team using Nothing phones every day, we kept running into the same thing. Constantly sharing screenshots, design frames, reference links, files, and bits of copied text between our computers and phones. These are small actions, but they happen all the time, and the friction adds up. So we built a simple internal tool for it. Then we realised it could be useful to the community too. #### What is Nothing Warp? Nothing Warp helps you quickly transfer files, links, copied text, and images between your computer and your Android phone. It works in both directions. It's browser extension-based, which keeps it lightweight and broadly compatible across setups. ##### A few important things to know: * It uses your own private Google Drive to move files * Nothing Warp does not store your files * Your data stays yours #### **How it works** Nothing Warp has two parts - a browser extension for Chromium-based browsers on macOS / Windows / Linux, and a lightweight Android app that adds Nothing Warp to your phone's share menu. Curious though: In what way does this beat Google’s quick share (or Apple’s AirDrop?) Both of these do the exact same thing but via wifi direct. It’s instant, doesn’t require a connection nor any extra apps. It allows you to share files, text, links and the likes with the press of a button.

TheDocHudson It uses Google Drive, so it is secure and easy to use. It is private due to Google Drive.

Firefox extension would be greatly appreciated! Tested this out and i love it chrome based browsers are not my daily use browsers though.

Honestly, I’m really proud and grateful to have worked with you. Sad to see you go, but very glad I got to witness the care you brought to the community. From your YouTube debut explaining Snapdragon vs MediaTek like it was light work, to projects like these, you’ve always shown how much thought and heart you put in.

You genuinely care about the community, and it shows in everything you touch. I can’t wait for them to see what you’ve been cooking for NOS 5.0.

I promise I’ll do my best to market the hell out of it for you.

Should have been better if it has remote control feature and instead of extension, it is an application in windows too.

Great stuff! It’s quicker, very useful and more stable than Phone Link. I’m on Vivaldi 90% of the time so I this is something that works seamlessly for me. Good job!

MIrrfan_LbRRK0sqfR cause not everything is worth saving for later use. These are mostly for transactional sharing, you can however add in into essential space once you have it on your phone.

Zac Such a killer app! A fantastic alternative to Google’s Quick Share, especially since it doesn’t support transfers to Apple devices on Nothing Phones, yet. I’ve shared this exciting news with everyone who uses Android and Mac at the same time 😆

Time to test!

For Android <-> Windows, I personally used Quick Share for one-time file transfers and a cable for large file transfers; and KDE Connect for clipboard sync. KDE used to get unreliable due to some “same network” requirements.

So it’s great to have a single solution for both, but I would appreciate a firefox extension too!

btw how do you remove anything from the app of you added something like i cant find any option of deleting something or clearing history type thing

Just tried it. So good!
Feedback: The chrome extension needs a “Clear/Delete” button for each item and a “Clear All” button to delete all from history.
The phone app already has swipe to delete item.

Mohd_Isham Should work on Chromium based browsers, so I think it would work on Brave, but IE is too old for the extension to be supported for security reasons (i.e. file transfer extensions need a good reliable browser that has good security.).
