Hello. Today I received an OS update for nothing phone (1) to version 2.5.2. But the functionality promised in the release, as well as recently presented in the 4th quarter report, is not available on your official YouTube channel. Namely, support for an external microphone in the camera application. The sound is still recorded from the built-in microphone. In my case, I use a DJI Mic via the USB Type-C port. This fact greatly upset me, since I purchased this smartphone for the purpose of recording video. And I was really looking forward to the release of an update to resolve the issue. Based on comments from users in your community, this is a question that concerns many users. The lack of support for an external microphone complicates the process of recording video, especially if the subject is located at a distance. Most third-party smartphones have this functionality natively. Will there be a fix for this issue soon? Or is it not worth waiting and starting to look closely at another manufacturer and model of smartphone? I really don’t want to change this device because of such a banal drawback. I use nothing phone (1) every day to record videos on my Youtube channel and solving this problem is very important to me. Perhaps you have a separate camera fix file or setup instructions? I’m even ready to take part in testing this functionality for supporting an external microphone and give feedback. Thank you.
