New Launch: Nothing Community App Store

Not only with just fans but also independent developers. And new users or existing ones sometimes really struggle to find their best created apps for their phones. Either they are on play store or GitHub. Other than that it’s a hit or miss. Also what about those passionate developers who have no coding ability but still try their best to offer something out of pure passion, like myself. Nodes was a concept I did a few years ago which was also shared by the Team at Nothing as something that would take a lot of time as the database was too much and who would be willing to manage it. That kept me thinking for all this time, there has to be a solution. After years, thanks to the evolving AI, I ended up with a few tools that made it happen. And not native Android app? 1. It’s web based, so works on all phones, including iPhones 2. No storage issues 3. Bugs can be fixed instantly using AI and it takes a refresh to update 4. Data management is super easy 5. You don’t need a team to handle everything 6. App submission is super easy as well 7. No Google Play store restrictions/review timings I can go on and on but I found it a perfect candidate for a data heavy app like this store. And hence Introducing the Nothing Community Store by Hearthborn Studios. This database wouldn’t have been easy if it weren’t for Nothing Archives created by Spike and Nothing Wiki by Adbo. It helped me to find many of the apps for this project. It’s not just a store. It’s a developers hub. Apps, Profiles, Followers and the best of what the community developers has to offer. MatthewPretty Have you used the app? There’s no data stored within the app. It’s just an organized mobile web view with all the links fetched from the Playstore and Github. I love how so many people are in denial of using AI yet are fine sharing their data with Google and Apple.

My problem isn’t with data sharing. That argument is totally flawed writing off people’s opinions because “people are fine sharing their data with Google and Apple” is a poor point. Do I have to share my data with Google yes to use their products, do I want to? No. It’s with theft of data to train AI models. My biggest problem is bugs, AI can introduce lots of bugs, exploits and more. You are also scraping GitHub and the Play store for content probably without the owners consent.

I have no problem to use AI when it’s done properly and you as a tool to assist not become the entire project.

If it’s just a simple webview why not build yourself? It’s not hard to build webviews? It’s just lazy and you’ve framed it like you’ve developed something.

Nothing Archive already has all the data you have with a nice website. It’s also open source so you could just contribute to that.

How’s that related? You should scrape an archive and re-release it with a vibe coded UI if you made some poorly designed apps before?

Mohd_Isham It doesn’t matter for him anyway. I did send valid feedback and criticism before, he didn’t care about any. Even Nothing themselves made criticism in some of their videos, I can still see the same mistakes.

And again, it has nothing to do with his apps. I don’t even know why he brought that to topic. I just said contribute to existing archive projects instead of scraping them.
