With NOS 4.1, devices from Phone (2) onwards will now have the option to use the lock screen clock face found in Phone (3a) Community Edition. This was designed by the Nothing Community’s very own @"jadzok"#3402. So we got the “nothing os 4.1” literally

No lockscreen clock customisation

No depth effect

No focus widget

No new camera preset widget

No essential voice

Can we expect these features or is it just over for us ?

societyacceptsme they are implementing the update gradually. It’s takes some time. Moreover I think so the 4.1 is still not fully achieved

Zac I didn’t get any features after updating OS 4.1 in my Nothing Phone 3A… Some days before I was very excited for getting a new feature of magic eraser in gallery app… But I didn’t get anything even Essential Voice feature 😔.

App services (bloat) is easy to remove…

go to settings> apps> all apps > find “app services” > disable that app… then it’ll prompt you to restart device… after restarting device this app will be completely deleted from your device…

I mean why? In 2026 you guys give us a clock style and Mension it. What a joke 🤣. Lock Screen Stuck like Old iphones.. No customization. That type of lockscreen I used 2009 in my XPERIA. Like Oldschool Stuff. I don’t know what the barrier you guys have. Plz guys work on some important things.. i have a list

Vishalkumarbilla Enough complaining about it! They’ll release it when it’s ready, they have no interest in keeping it inside. These things take a lot of work to make it work well, and the magic eraser takes even more, Because it’s local, they need to make sure the phone doesn’t overheat/one wipe doesn’t take 5% battery… a little patience, dud

If you had read what was written in the update, you would have seen that they were going to release this in upcoming updates as well…

And I’ll use the stage along the way - everyone who complains about the essentials voice button that was “forced” on us, You can disable it in settings/essentials toolkit/essential voice

They should allow us to change which website/ sources should show us the weather forecast..

It’s freaking 42°C outside and this widget keeps on sending me notifications on THUNDERSTORM IN NEXT 1HR,

I would have disabled it a lot before but it looks cool , functionality wise, it’s trash i still have to search it on Google for what’s gonna happen today

I hope u understand, defending them is not gonna help us in anyway, it’s the user you should think about, there are lots of ways that they can take to give us those updates earlier, on of which is extending the team, company is very profitable and hiring good professionals shouldn’t be a tough job for them…

It’s the consumers they are serving for, if consumers are suffering or feeling unsatisfied.. they should force the company to push regular updates
