I was wondering if it was only me who thought the glyph tools for Phone (4a) were a little underwhelming, dont get me wrong the community is already working on supporting 4a with the better music visualizer and all that but i did think the default ones let me down a little. Im going to list out a few that i think couldve been better.
Essential Record: Although this isnt a 4a specific glyph feature i did expect the bar to react to voice when in essential record, would add to the reactive effect (maybe as a toggle for people to choose)
Glyph Progress, i would LOVE more 3rd party integrations, i dont know if the zomato integration is a collab between nothing and zomato but swiggy support would be lovely. maybe even a api that any developer could tap. (so i could maybe add compatibility apps)
APPRECIATION:
Volume indicatior, contrary to what people think , if you have media playing the volume indicator feature works even with the screen off which is amazing
Glyph Timer, what i initially thought was a little Gimmicky is now my favourite, the falling lights work really really good as a timer for the pomodoro system for me.
sorry this came across more of a rant than a “discussion” id love to here y’all s thoughts.
edit: ps im sad theres no native music visualizer 🙁
