Hi team,

While configuring essential notification for WhatsApp I am unable to see the individual chat option so that I could tune it for just selected chat personel. The conversation option at the top is not available on my device.

    I might have not been clear, this will shed more info, as I am unable to see any option for individual chat selection i.e. a conversation option is generally visible at the top but it’s not available for me.

    Check whether all permissions are given to WhatsApp.

    Specially the notification access.

    Which OS version are you using?

    The OS version is 2.5.2 and security patch is also up to date, WhatsApp has all the necessary access provided.

    Essential Notifications of NOS is still “clunky” since stable 2.5.0. The only way to set specific contacts (from various apps) to be an Essential Notification is through Notification Panel.

    Once you received a notification from your preferred contact, press and hold the contact’s notification, then toggle “Essential Notification”.

      When the nothing phone 2 has released. Nothing showed that the essential glyph notification was a great feature. But while getting the new OS update (nothing OS 2.5.2), I can’t set up essential glyph notification for a specific chat in whatsapp.
