CMF Phone 1 – Camera Processing Changed After Nothing OS 4.1
After updating my CMF Phone 1 to Nothing OS 4.1 (Build Tetris-B4.1-260415-1709) I noticed a significant change in camera processing
Before the update every photo would go through a short processing stage after capture After one or two seconds details became sharper hair texture looked more natural and the overall image quality improved noticeably
Since updating to OS 4.1 this post-processing effect seems to be gone or greatly reduced. Photos are saved almost instantly but they look softer and lose fine details especially in hair and facial textures Image file sizes also appear smaller than before
I have already tried:
- Clearing Camera app data
- Restarting the device
- Testing different camera settings
The issue remains the same
Is this an intentional camera algorithm change in Nothing OS 4.1 or could it be a bug? I would appreciate it if the team could investigate this because the camera quality was noticeably better before the update
