Subject: Appeal to Extend Software Support for Nothing Phone (2) - A Request from a Loyal User
Hi Nothing Team and Carl Pei (@getpeid),
I am writing this as a proud and loyal member of the Nothing family. From the very beginning, I believed in the vision of this company. Currently, I am deeply integrated into the ecosystem, using both the Nothing Phone (2) and Nothing Ear buds.
I bought the Phone (2) not just for its specs, but because I trusted the brand’s promise to do things differently. Being an early adopter, I have faced and patiently navigated through various initial bugs and issues, always keeping faith that the team would improve the experience.
The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 inside the Phone (2) is a powerhouse and more than capable of running future updates. While the current policy ends at Android 16, I strongly urge the team to consider a one-year extension to Android 17 for Phone (2) users.
As loyal customers who stood by the brand when it was new, we deserve that extra bit of longevity. Giving us Android 17 would not only reward our loyalty but also prove that Nothing truly cares about sustainability and its community, unlike other “traditional” brands.
