Red Tint on Display Edges - Possible Screen Damage

Hi team,

I would like to report an issue I’ve been experiencing with my device’s display. There is a noticeable red tint appearing along the edges of the screen in nothing phone

, which becomes more visible when viewing light or white backgrounds. This discoloration seems abnormal and was not present earlier.

The issue appears consistently and does not seem to be related to any specific app or software setting. Based on the behavior, it looks like it could be due to potential display panel damage or a hardware-related defect rather than a temporary software glitch.

This is affecting the overall viewing experience, especially while reading, browsing, or watching content, as the color inconsistency is quite distracting.

I would appreciate it if the team could review this issue and confirm whether it is a known problem. Please advise on possible troubleshooting steps or the process for repair/replacement if this is identified as a hardware defect.

SANALAKKU Dear friend, this is a forum, not a phone repair center.

This is not a known defect of the NP1, the display is clearly damaged.

NP1 is no longer covered by warranty, so NOTHING will not repair your phone’s display for free.

SANALAKKU my friends phone (not a nothing phone) had the same issue after a fall damage and one by one the display gave up , so it is not a software issue and it clearly is a hardware issue , hence screen replacement is the only way

ChrisJ yeah, I’m going to replace the screen. Warranty period is already completed 😭.
