Currently, as of today using Nothing OS 2.5.0 BETA2, they are only a couple of apps made and designed by the Nothing Team, these are: Weather, Recorder, Nothing X (for audio devices).
In my opinion, these apps are already great which is why I believe that Nothing should consider the possibility of making more apps (they probably are already) based on Nothing’s foundations and objectives for the future of technology:
That you don’t have to think about. That feels like nothing (last one, we promise). - Nothing
The apps currently made by Nothing are great. I use them a lot and they have some great features and the UI is just gorgeous in my opinion and it would be cool to have more. These could be like: Notes, Calendar, Chats (yes, revive it), Community, etc.
Notes: Similar to most note apps in basic functionality but adding features like: Capture (copy text from images or the camera), searchable (search for notes or sections by the text inside notes), cloud storage and accesibility via web.
Calendar: Add features like sharing events, schedules, transport planning (in the same event) etc. It should ideally sychronize with Google Calendar (opt-in).
Chats: Even if its just a essentially a reskin of Google Messages. Some additional features could be: OTP organization & auto-deletion after 1, 8 or 24 hours, Nothing integration like sharing Ear (1), (2) & (Stick) EQ settings; Voice Notes from Recorder App directly, custom ringtones from the Glyph Composer; Calendar Schedules (between x and y day and options to share everything in between or just certain elements like work schedule or sport events); Weather (just sending the weather like when someones askes: “Hows the weather up in the mountain?”, etc.). All this, I feel like, could be built upon Google’s RCS protocol.
- Community: Just an app for this website to make the UI easier for mobile devices and to get push notifications.
These are just some ideas I’ve had for some Nothing apps and features for them. Any others?
