Phone (4a) Pro supply delays in Malaysia?

Hi everyone,

I wanted to check if anyone else is currently facing delays getting their Nothing device in Malaysia, especially through Thunder Match Technology.

I placed my order on 25 April and today I received this update from TMT saying there is a supplier stock delay and that even they have not been given an estimated restock date yet. They also mentioned they had already given the supplier up to 20 days to restock the item.

That got me wondering whether this is simply a local retailer stock allocation issue, or if there are wider manufacturing/logistics delays affecting Nothing devices in this region at the moment.

I completely understand that supply chain issues can happen, and I’m not trying to attack the retailer or the brand. I’m mainly hoping to get some clarity from other buyers or moderators here because the lack of ETA has been a little concerning.

Has anyone else in Malaysia experienced similar delays recently?

I have asked for a refund. I cannot be bothered to wait anymore. What a joke. Now I am mulling not buying a Nothing phone.

I got the same reply, and I cancelled mine instantly. They don’t update anything despite the delay until you enquire. They also told me that it was a nationwide shortage.

I found SprayGadget and bought mine there. I got mine like 2 days later after buying. If you really want a Nothing phone, you could try this. This was my first Nothing phone and I really wanted to get my hands on it, so if you feel the same, just go for it but prevent going scammy shops. GL 🙂
