Don’t get me wrong, the wireless stuff is great, but there’s something about just plugging a cable in and not worrying about battery life or pairing issues. Plus, seeing the internal wiring through a transparent Nothing-style cable would look so sick.

You can be honest wireless stuff is not great. They are limited by bluetooth transmission bandwidth, no matter how much you improve the physical audio features of the ear phones, no matter how high resolution file you have bluetooth itself is a limitation.

If it wasn’t for the removal of headphone jacks and artificially forcing us to buy wireless earphones I don’t think wireless would have such a big market.

ANANT777 This would be my first thing for which I don’t have to think second time 🔥. I am searching for a perfect wired earphones for me but the thing is either some of them have not the best sound quality or they they dont have type c cable. The looks also matters alot. The problem with the tws is you have to charge them, sound delay can’t be fixed. If nothing releases the wired earphones then this can catch everyone’s attention. The OG wired earphones are trending right now and this would be a perfect time to release this product.🔥🔥

This would be so amazing with full customisable equaliser enabled for this.
40-50 USD or 3-4K INR would be so perfect for this. If they can make IEMs then it would be crazy for audiophiles.
Earphones are always a hit and miss. Can never compete with wired ones.

Since Nothing is always focussed on enthusiast & design loving market, this would be better suited.

The Headphones (a) have a mini jack for wired output, as well as being wireless 🙂

I used them wired during my live set at Nothing Phone in Soho 🙂

Oh that’s nice, but that is a over ear headphone, I am talking about wired earphones as in picture. Headphone (a) is expensive, Nothing can launch wired earphones under 25usd Because there is a trend of wired earphones and nothing can nail it with their design and audio quality.

Wired headphones would be great but it depends on the price. Folks are talking about 25–50 USD (25–50 EUR; 2.4–5k INR)…I think that’s too low.

I like 50 USD for an “Ear Wired (a)”.

Nothing needs to (1) establish a quality floor, (2) leave room for CMF products to make sense in (3) a world where material costs are going up.

Coldest take ever but that’s besides the point lol. They’ll never do it because BT stuff needs to be replaced more often than wired stuff which gets them more reoccurring sales 🫠 there are some pretty cool transparent IEMs out there tho! And to hammer the point home that they aren’t planning on making wired earphones, last year’s April Fool’s was about wired earphones.

But honestly there is a chance this could happen anyway seeing how wired earphones are making a resurgence. If they want to tap into that audience, then nobody else is really making slightly aspirational wired earphones for casual listening.

pollenjh But Apple makes wired earphones, we all know how profit greedy they are and yes there are many cool IEM’s out there but still normal people don’t purchase these IEMs only audiophiles do. I would like to see a wired earphones of nothing still because there is no need to charge it just simple plug and play with no latency and better reliable audio quality.
