Receiving Calls in Flight Mode - Help

Observed calls are being coming through even when phone is in FLIGHT MODE .does anyone faced this issue .Also battery backup drastically decreased after updated to 4.0 ,4.1 os update just give 10-11 hours backup from 90-12 % with moderate use ,no games no youtube just little insta .tried all posible steps suggested by nothing team but issue is still same on 3a .one of the poorest phone I belive now

harpreetsingh_OU5lmrimFa Hey mate, is WiFi calling enabled? Are these calls coming via the Phone app or, a WiFi enabled app like WhatsApp? Could this be the reason why you’re receiving calls?

Either way I’d suggest logging this as feedback via settings > system > feedback.

It’s coming through normal calling however call over wifi (wifi calling )is enabled for me .this is not the reason right ?

Anonymous1555 This may sound logical, but when it’s without games and just basic browsing, it’s less than standard… I would be happy if they fixed the bug that causes me to only get 6-7 hours a day (sorry, those are the real hours 😅)

I’m confused… are we talking about actual hours the device has been powered on, or about SOT? 🤔… Because 18–20 hours of SOT is pure fantasy.

Anonymous1555 SOT + actually phone power on was 18-20 hours earlier but now it reduced to 10-12 hours only .you can say total backup time is 10 -12 hours from 90% charged

JP yes you are correct … mostly I charge my phone at 11 am and by 10 pm battery status goes down to 9-10. % this is how I calculate backup .it is every day .just a less then moderate usage .. no utube no gaming no calling

Not saying you’re wrong just stating that this is not correct method of measuring battery life/sot…👍🏻🫂

I usually get 11hr+ on my cmf ph1 and it lasts for about 1.2-1.5 days … so actual sot is 11hrs and not 1.5 days.👍🏻

Anonymous1555 In my case, it doesn’t matter, I got to a maximum of 7 hours (at 80%), which is sad… They really ruined my battery optimization, I have to go everywhere with a power bank😕😮‍💨

This is unlikely, and even more so that only after a month(!!) after I sent feedback with all the files needed to diagnose the problem, the feedback was actually forwarded to technical support (and I still haven’t received any fix😕)

lolifnotely🇮🇱 Try to disable all the AI bs in the drawer, it helped me get back to ~9 hours on average. With the identical use case and that enabled I get maybe 6.5 hours if I’m lucky.

lolifnotely🇮🇱 if you own 3a then yes same experience i am facing ,battery optimisation is really worst after upgrade to 4.1 4.0 and nothing is not ready to accept it’s we need to suffer.i future will not recommended nothing series to anyone as it is worst handset and worst after sale service ..

Correct and I had visited service centre 5 times and every time they took logs and charging status and at the end they found nothing ,i had already pushed the software from service centre but no fix. It’s the issue with the OS itself and NOTHING TEAM ,has to work on this otherwise they will loose trust , what they advertise is not what we are getting .
