I genuinely want to know if anyone else in the community has faced this kind of experience with the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro because mine has been exhausting.
I bought my device on 19 March 2025, and since then I’ve been dealing with a recurring camera issue where vertical moving lines randomly appear while taking photos or videos. It happens across the stock camera, Snapchat, Instagram — everywhere.
The worst part is not even the issue itself anymore. It’s the endless repair cycle.
I visited authorized service centres multiple times:
- Software resets and updates
- Full device setup again and again
- Camera replacements
- Multiple half-days wasted travelling and waiting
And despite all that, the exact same issue keeps returning.
Now today, 17 May 2026, the issue is back again for the past 2 days.
What frustrates me most is that this defect started during warranty, was documented multiple times, and was never permanently fixed — but now that the warranty period is over, support is basically saying future repairs will be chargeable.
Honestly, that makes no sense to me.
How is a customer responsible for paying again and again for a recurring fault that the company itself failed to permanently resolve during warranty?
I’m posting this here because I want to know:
- Has anyone else faced repeated unresolved hardware issues like this?
- Did Nothing eventually replace the device?
- How did you get proper resolution instead of repeated temporary fixes?
I really liked the brand initially, which is why this experience has been especially disappointing. Right now it genuinely feels like I got stuck with a defective unit and endless repair loops instead of an actual solution.
