I recently purchased the CMF Buds 2 Plus, and I have been facing persistent touch control issues since day one.
The Problem:
Whenever I receive an incoming call and put the earbuds on, the touch controls completely fail to respond. Sometimes this happens on both sides, and other times it only affects one side.
I suspect this is directly linked to a faulty in-ear detection mechanism. The only temporary fix is to place the earbuds back into the charging case and take them out again, often multiple times, to get them to respond.
Troubleshooting I’ve already tried:
Performed basic troubleshooting (re-pairing, resetting the buds, and updating the firmware via the app).
Restarted my Phone (Pixel 8)
Re-installed Nothing X app
Tested the earbuds across multiple devices including mac and pc to rule out a phone-specific issue.
Visited an authorized service center. Unfortunately, the technicians claimed they couldn’t replicate or find any issue with the product.
Since the problem is still very much there and affecting daily usage, I wanted to check if anyone else in the community is facing this? Any advice or workaround would be highly appreciated.
