After months of work, I’m finally confident enough to say that we’re going to have Community-made Watchfaces.

While most of the work over the last few weeks has been about understanding the structure of watchface files and documenting everything, the focus over the next few weeks will be on building tools and allowing a select group of community designers to try out the tools before the general release.

In the last few days, I’ve finally built the community’s very first watchface: “Big Ben”, a perfect test that recalls the country where it all began.

Tools are being developed for the Web so that they can be used by everyone.

Release window is 2024 for now, but i’ll have more precise information soon.

Further news will be published in the next weeks in this thread.

I can’t wait to release this tool for the community.

    Btw maybe you should create another thread for your Ear(2) windows app, so people connecting to the nothing.community could see it if they don’t use discord 😉
    @RapidZapper

      RapidZapper amazing work as always but it’s also a bit of shame things like these are not being offered by the company directly. I look forward to seeing and even trying fruits of your labour and I hope nothing doesn’t block any of the work you uncovered in some new update. Sign me up 🙏

      Impressive work as always! Looking forward to see the first tests!

      Awesome work Thomas. You are unstoppable!

      Amazing. Do you want to work on an initiative to run custom apps on the watch?
