I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Nothing and the Nothing Phone 4a Pro. From the beginning, this phone has been glitching constantly on almost every app, making it frustrating to use on a daily basis.
I contacted Nothing support hoping for a solution, but all they did was send me the usual troubleshooting steps — reset the phone, update software, clear cached data, etc. I followed everything they suggested, and absolutely nothing helped. When I explained that I was unhappy and requested a replacement for what is clearly a faulty phone, they refused because my 30-day return period had passed.
Instead, they want me to send the phone away for repair, while offering no temporary replacement device in the meantime. According to them, the repair process takes 3–5 business days, but realistically everyone knows that usually means at least two weeks without a phone.
This is supposed to be a brand-new phone, but it has been a complete disappointment and absolutely not worth the money. What makes it even more frustrating is that my husband owns the Nothing Phone 2 and it works perfectly, so I expected much better quality from this model.
My advice: do NOT waste your money on the 4a Pro.
