Why nothing phones dont have low battery warning notification. Sometimes i don’t notice the battery charge and it shut downs in the middle of my important works, WHY?

Please let me know if anyone ever heard how a nothing phone sounds when its on low battery or ever get a pop up saying battery is low. This thing bothering me so much that i am done with this.

Why i have to go inside the setting>Network and Internet>Hotspot and tethering>connected devices ……… just to see who is connected to my hotspot. Why i cant just directly see from clicking the hotspot button from notification panel.

And also, i cant even see how much data is used by that perticular device. And i cant even set data limit to hotspot.

Why this basic features are lacking in nothing devices. This features are used to come with 10 year old Android 8 devices. This things are not ‘Exclusive Features’, they are must have functions that we need in our daily life.

I also reached the support team and give them the feedback but they diverting the main topic.

PrasanjitShil There is a notification about low battery at 20% and 10% but it is not as noticebale as other brands(even when battery saver mode is on all time)

yes , you can see it from the hotspot button in notification panel, you need to press and hold for 1 second the hotspot button for it open up,

ChrisJ I was trying to say that the devices don’t show up the way you told me to do. I have to go through settings to get the device list. I have attached a screenshot of the long pressed hotspot panel window.

There is no device info list or option that shows connected devices.

lol i just checked and i know it lol i think one ui still is the top android skin till date maybe some others but other than pixel one ui wins in all these scenarios

RajPratapAnand I do agree with this point, One UI is the best Android skin so far. Coming from a Galaxy A13 with One UI 6.0 (yes I know it is an older version now) and coming to a Phone 3a with NOS has not been the best. Hardware is fantastic, but the software and features/customisation is not my favourite about this Phone.

Even we don’t get the new Android features properly, as Nothing doesn’t seem to add them in. If I went to a Pixel 10, then I would probably see more newer Android features that I have never heard of.

both made from scratch after samsung moved from touchwiz ui in s10 or something probably idk

like the hotspot thing yeah you can click on text in the quick settings panel and it shows important information passowrd and name

it has more customisations on the entire clock face than the nothing os 4.1 combined features and we have yet to get

has samsung apps like sound Assistant with multi app sound soooo you can be on a call on discord and listen to spotify or yt music simultaneously

Not saying nothing os is bad but yes its too far behind for me atleast

RajPratapAnand People Loves nothing os cause its doing ‘something’ different in the field of design and creativity nowadays. But yeah, not having basic Android features can’t be appreciated. Even lack of basic features like ‘daily data limit’ and ‘daily data usage’ feels like using 3g phone in 5g era. Shifting from other OS to nothing OS can really make feel how many basic features it lacking.

Covering Up Lazy software work in the name of “MINIMALISM” is the biggest Achievement(or scam,tbh) of this brand ,NOTHING.

AbiS_MjZL72iTVk i would not call it lazy but yes they have removed some android features altogether from the os which are part of android as a ehole especially the material 3 expeessive we should have the option for colourlful theme and monochrome theme or just give us an app like Samsung theme store

sooooo many icons aod, themes and wallpapers some are paid but free ones aren’t bad

the good lock app has to be the one of the best app creations ever

But the one thing they did properly was preventing unwanted ai features like in realme and oneplus which are just bad

the essetial space is a great app tbh its fixes the notes app problem of native app.

we also need a playgroud and nothing store combined like the themes store from samsung and also the community app like Samsung members these aren’t too much really if we think that both have websites already

PrasanjitShil My reason for phone 3a pro was, i needed bloat free os ( not anymore - nothing needs money but then don’t promise it as a company principle)

camera is good , fine by me with tone of presets

ui is appealing because screen time is less for me than samsung like maybe someday its 8hrs or or 10hrs

but i have managed to not use social media to a considerable extent

the unique look and unique design is what captured my attention.

I have not yet given up because nothing does have a record for bugs and perfectly optimised apps

but i would like them to not remove features entirely like the esim , 3a pro should clearly have e sim in india but they chose different which is scummy and evil giving a feature internationally but only in one country its locked.

their pricing is stupid for 4a pro with no nfc and dolby Atmos ( present on 2019 samsunga70s , harshly criticised for heating issues )
