This is purely a conceptual design project. As an industrial design student and a huge fan of Nothing, I’ve always been deeply captivated by their design philosophy. To me, Nothing’s approach isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s about making the interaction between human and machine feel alive and intuitive.
Recently, I found myself wondering: “What if Nothing decided to create a turntable?” Driven by this curiosity, I challenged myself to design a product that seamlessly fits into this unique ecosystem. This concept places user interaction at the very center, powered by two of Nothing’s core design languages: “Material Transparency” and the “Glyph Interface”.

My goal was to create an analog device where the hardware itself communicates with the user through light, form, and movement—achieving true functional minimalism and mechanical beauty.
As a designer who is still learning and growing, I would absolutely love to hear what this amazing community thinks. Any feedback, critique, or insights on this interaction-focused turntable concept would be incredibly valuable to me.
