Inspired by the transparent aesthetic of Nothing Phone (1), the original dot-matrix branding, and the early glass-like wallpapers that made me fall in love with the brand. imagined a minimal, transparent laptop focused on the pure Nothing design language

You can’t really “design” a heatsink purely for aesthetics. The way it looks in that image makes zero sense at all, it wouldn’t be able to dissipate any CPU heat at all. The fan is also pushed way too far to the edge. That combo would make any existing CPU thermal throttle like a hot potato, at any TPL, even at 10 W.

Edit: If you really want a “Nothing Laptop” for aesthetics, just buy a Framework 13 Pro or a ThinkPad X9-14 (or X9-15). Both look great, both are awesome in everything else.

grepGander well the concept looks like that because I think they create it with AI. It doesn’t look natural for laptop design. You can look at the keycap (bottom left image).

People think that design is just typing a couple of words to a propmpt and gg. Fortunately, it doesn’t work that way in reality.
