HarshSaroha

Update: it fixed itself out of nowhere today its working now so yayyy but it wasnt working for quite a long time. (Today is 13 Jul 2026 it stopped working on 12 jun 2026)

So whenever i try to go to portrait mode it just stops working. App is active but it doesn’t focus or take pictures or let me do pretty much anything i have already restarted the device multiple times and have cleared camera app data and settings

Hey @HarshSaroha. I’m facing the same issue on my Nothing Phone (3a). As soon as I installed the OS 4.1 update, the camera started freezing in Portrait mode, just like you showed in your video.

Is the issue fixed on your phone now? If so, could you please share how you fixed it?

mridulkhan88 Same here it came after 4.1 update and i think another update that came after it and google play system update fixed it for me. Tbh it got fixed on its own once about a month after it froze i randomly tried to show my frnd look it freezes and it randomly worked…… a day before it wasnt working. The only thing that changed was i got an update that got installed overnight i think that might have fixed it but i am not 100% sure 😊😃
