I just want to say that I am also experiencing a drastic change in battery life since the last update. (I haven’t installed a single new app since then!)

Before, it was awesome, I almost never had to charge my phone during the day. Now, I’m having to do so very often.
Recording a long sporting exercise also almost completely drains my battery. This was absolutely not the case before.

I really hope this gets fixed in the next update!

I am trying to setup my new Nothing Phone 3(a) to completely a clean Home Screen with aesthetic widgets and folders with Useful Apps that I use often daily and Lock Screen with a eye catching depth wallpaper in dark theme with cool widgets.

Please help me find and set it up.

Since installing the 4.1 update, my Camera app has been freezing whenever I use Portrait mode or try to zoom in. The app becomes unresponsive and eventually crashes.

Device: Nothing Phone (3a)
Build Number: B4.1-260618-1048-IND
Camera App Version: 16.0.01.26.00

What’s strange is that the camera works perfectly fine in third-party apps like WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger, so the issue seems to be limited to the stock Camera app.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue on the Nothing Phone (3a) after updating to Nothing OS 4.1? If so, were you able to find a fix?

After updating to Nothing OS 4.0, the black and white camera processing has changed. The previous monochrome style had more natural contrast and character. Please consider adding a classic processing option or restoring the previous monochrome tuning.

In my experience I think it is the worst update, the phone overheats when doing basic things like messaging on Telegram and listening to music, the battery lasts really little compared to before And there are bugs and glitches in the user interface like in the Launcher the camera when I take a picture the interface becomes slow and jerky It loses touches when I enter the PIN code on the lock screen really a bad update

Hello Community,

I’m new here. It’s been a year in using Nothing Phone 3A. It’s been a decent journey yet i have couple of problems. I’m writing this believing I may have a solution.

Camera app hanging when I change the Zoom option, especially in Video mode.
WIFI getting frequently disconnected when I step out of the house right away even though there is range. If try to force and reconnect it turn of the wifi itself for some reason. My IPH15PRO works seamlessly outside the house.
The Volume of the phone has gradually reduced after updates.
Hanging sometimes very rarely, which I’m fine with it.

I dont know if this problems are with all Nothing Phones are usually to Android. I’ve been a IOS user for last decade or so and this is my experience with Android when I switch back.

Let me know if I can do anything abt it. Thanks in advance

after waiting so long for a single update and even we are not getting the latest features which is on 4a series and 4b. Im very disappointed with nothing. for may update we waited till june 25. now its been August but still we didn’t received July update. I don’t know what type of services they are giving to there customers? If any new buyer want to buy the nothing phone by seeing community commends itself they wont buy the phone. Already we paid lot for this phones which still lags in features which many other smartphone brands are giving in this price segments. I’m really very unhappy about Nothing OS update which they are doing with new and old phones. We all paid for the phones then we all want proper and equal updates like other model phones of nothing and after waiting for whole 1 or 2 months still very are getting updates full of bugs. Please make it proper and make the updates equally to every phone. Don’t make new phone runs on new OS update and old model will it old updates please stop this make the OS update like other brands are giving for example Carl’s previous company Oneplus . its my very kind request to Nothing @Firmware bot

Sad to see such an exciting company slowly die off…

Almost impossible to invest in new Nothing tech when it’s obvious to see how the experience for users degrades over time…

Adarsh

Nothing team, this update doesn’t support Airtel FastLane, please add support.

LOCK SCREEN BLUR IS A BASIC FEATURE FROM ANDROID 11 DUDE

RajPratapAnand Do you see other people writing in all caps?… 🤔

grepGander

Sirius_EU No one else is suggesting something so important and crucial, like watching a blurred screen once every 72 hours when inputting a password/PIN 🤫

See, if others were yelling at Google, then Google would have added blur in Android 16 already:

grepGander I think you need to own a Nokia 😌
