Need help: System app list for Nothing Phone (4a) / WiFi connection issue

Hi everyone,

I run into an issue with my Nothing Phone (4a) and need your help.

I uninstalled several system apps via normal Settings in App List (no root) to debloat my device. Unfortunately, I deleted too much: my phone still detects WiFi networks, but it fails to connect to them.

Could someone please provide a complete list of pre-installed apps (both user and system apps) for the Nothing Phone (4a)?

I am especially looking for the specific system app responsible for WiFi connectivity/authentication and instructions on how to reinstall it without doing a factory reset.

kr0wqkr0wq did you uninstall or disable?? Because system apps are not uninstall -able .. you cab only disable them for the same reason…

You can check settings>apps>all apps>disabled app from drop down menu …

What information are you missing? I wrote that I uninstalled several system apps via the standard Settings menu in the App List, without root access. I then had to perform a soft reset on the device and use Canta as usual. I was surprised that it was possible to simply uninstall (not disabling!) such important apps — I still don’t know which ones they were —

Probably one of those apps:
- Android System Key Verifier
- Android System SafetyCore
- …

kr0wqkr0wq okay . I was asking for names perticularly… but you don’t know what you’ve uninstalled… and i don’t think that caused the issue …

Try clearing data for setting app and system ui app and reset network if not done already…

Thanks for the replies. I had already tried all of that, including re-enabling all the apps I had disabled. But it happened exactly as described: I UNINSTALLED a system app, and immediately afterward, the Wi-Fi connection was lost and I could no longer authenticate (no matter which Wi-Fi network I tried).
I couldn’t remember which app it was. Even in the system logs, it was difficult to identify because of the large amount of data, although I knew the deletion had occurred within five minutes.

The issue is now resolved, since I restored the system.

kr0wqkr0wq May I know how/by what means you “UNINSTALLED” those certain system apps?
You can also try going to: Settings> System> Reset options> reset bluetooth and wifi.

As far as I know, uninstalling system apps is impossible without root access. You can only disable them by adb commands or apps such as Canta which is a fancy UI that runs those commands..
