A Possible Fix if Your Earbuds Won’t Connect (Worked for Me)
If your earbuds are not connecting to your phone even after trying all the official troubleshooting methods (such as resetting the earbuds, restarting your phone, or repairing Bluetooth), you can try this method.
This worked for me with:
Nothing Ear (2)
Nothing Phone (2)
Nothing X App
It may also help if:
Your earbuds were previously connected but suddenly stopped connecting.
The earbuds and charging case seem out of sync.
The firmware/software may have become unresponsive.
You have connected the earbuds to many different devices.
Steps
Install your earbuds’ official app (Nothing X App) on your phone.
Make sure both earbuds and the charging case have enough battery.
Place both earbuds inside the charging case.
Close the charging case and keep it closed throughout the next step.
Connect the Ear2 case to your phone using a USB-C to USB-C cable.
Wait for at least 2 minutes without opening the case.
After 2 minutes open Ear2 case make sure don’t disconnect the cable and try connecting the earbuds press the Ear2 button again through Bluetooth.
In my case, this appeared to resynchronize or recover the earbuds, and they connected normally afterward.
Note: This is not an official repair method. I only know that it worked for my Nothing Ear (2) with a Nothing Phone (2) 512GB ROM. I can’t guarantee it will work for other earbuds or phones, but it may be worth trying before contacting customer support.
I hope this will help you. Thank you!
