Between the two latest earbuds, the major differences are:
Ear (3a):
- More budget friendly
- More color options
- Pretty much same battery life as the more expensive counterpart
- From my knowledge better tuned out of the box
- Can record short audio snippets and even call recording, although the latter availability depends on the country’s laws
Esr (3):
- More premium overall
- Wireless charging
- The charging case has a built-in microphone which can be used on phone calls for example
Both products also support Nothing X Advanced EQ settings, which is great and I didn’t expect it for the less expensive (3a).
Personally I would go with the (3a), it offers great value for the price, the reviews so far have been very positive and while the charging case might be a different style than the rectangular cases of the previous Ear series, the buds themselves keep the signature Nothing design and style.
