Ehh, Google is frequently incorrect about many things lately, sadly. I mean, why is the battery not discharging (or charging) then, when you set it at 80% charge but you’re above 80%, say 86%? It will stay at 86% forever as long as it’s plugged in, there is no option to pick to “top it up” to 86% when it drops to 85%. It’s no different from how it works with laptops. For example, my laptop battery is set to charge to 70% once it drops below 40%:
It’s been at 68% for more than a week now because I haven’t used my laptop on battery (for more than ~15 minutes) since then.
My (3a) is still at 80%, hotspot active for 35+ hours (I finally managed to hit 5 GHz at network channel 36 so I’m afraid to disconnect 😁), still the same amount of cycles, nothing was changed.
Ah, so he was banned. I wondered why he just disappeared from the community (I’m not him, lol). I always liked seeing his posts/comments around here, so it’s a shame he’s gone. Thanks for the info!

Well, that’s crap. I thought perhaps it was different with just one or two regions, not that it was EU specific. It’s a great feature to have, so it’s clearly there already, it’s not a “DLC” to get separately lmao, so why in the world would they hide it outside the EU… 😕😕
