Design question: should the Essential Notification go off after you reading it on your CMF watch, yet to unlock the phone and reply?

I am lucky enough to be using nothing phone 4(a) and their CMF Watch 3pro as a pair. The experience has been nice. It does help me enter that deep-focus mode easier. However, I notice a design decision that this pair opts… When an Essential Notification comes in, it would simultaneously pop up a notification on my watch (yes it’s default and acceptable). However when I click the watch to read that message, the Essential Notification light goes off immediately. It’s an interesting decision … The fact is that, I haven’t yet unlocked my phone and typed my respond. The ritual is not complete yet. The priority that this Essential Notification represents hasn’t been greeted with my utmost attention yet. Damn my ADHD, I could be going back to my work the next second and forget replying the message from that Essential person. The Essential Notification light should go off only after the phone is unlocked and that message is properly addressed.
