Goodbye, Nothing Phone (3) đ â 10 Months of âInnovationâ
I purchased the Nothing Phone (3) around 10 months ago, and honestly, it has been one of the worst smartphone experiences Iâve ever had.
Over these 10 months, we have faced so many bugs and issues that we actually had to collectively document them and post them in the Nothing Community. We also tried reaching out individually multiple times.
And the response?
âIt has been shared with the relevant team.â
âThe team is looking into it.â
âWeâll keep you updated.â
At this point, Iâm genuinely curious:
How many years does it take to fix a bug? đ
Every time I open Nothingâs posts, I see something about innovation, new features, magic, design, and whatâs coming next.
Innovation is great. Magic is great.
But maybe, just maybe, fixing the existing problems should come first?
Users arenât asking for magic anymore.
We arenât asking for another fancy feature.
We are literally begging for bug fixes.
The problems Iâve personally had:
Screen ghosting
Green tint in dark scenes
Heating issues
Phone getting extremely hot even while watching YouTube and Instagram
The device sometimes becomes so hot that itâs genuinely uncomfortable to hold
Bugs that have been reported repeatedly but still remain unresolved
And these arenât some tiny cosmetic issues that we can simply ignore.
This is a flagship phone that I paid my hard-earned money for.
Whenever someone asked me for my honest opinion about the Nothing Phone (3), I had to be honest:
I never recommended it.
In fact, even when someone was willing to buy one, I actually tried to convince them not to buy it.
That says everything about my experience.
And finally⊠Iâm done.
I recently bought an iPhone 17 Pro Max and exchanged my Nothing Phone (3).
The funniest part?
The Nothing Phone (3) wasnât even valued at one-fourth of what I originally paid for it.
After spending so much money, dealing with so many bugs, reporting them repeatedly, waiting for fixes, and hearing the same ârelevant teamâ response over and over againâŠ
This is where my Nothing journey ends.
I will never recommend this brand again.
To everyone who is still suffering with these issues:
Please donât keep your hopes too high.
If the same problems have been reported for months and still havenât been properly addressed, maybe itâs time to stop waiting for that magical update.
Sometimes the best update is simply:
âGoodbye, Nothing.â đ
Leaving a brand you once believed in is difficult.
But honestly?
After 10 months of frustration, saying goodbye feels surprisingly good. đ
Goodbye, Nothing community.
Goodbye, Phone (3).
Thanks for the memories⊠and the bugs. đ«Ą
