Hi Nothing community,
I’ve been facing a very unusual issue on my **Nothing Phone (1)** for around the past week, and I’m hoping someone can help me figure out what’s causing it.
Several different apps are **automatically closing/crashing whenever I open or use a location-based feature**.
For example:
* **Flipkart:** When I try to add/update my delivery address using my current location, the app crashes.
* **Amazon Minutes, Zepto, Swiggy, Zomato:** When I open the delivery tracking/location section to see where the delivery partner is, the app suddenly closes.
What makes this particularly strange is that it is happening across **multiple unrelated apps**, so I don’t think the individual apps are the problem.
One important observation
**Google Maps works completely normally.** I can open Maps, use my current location and navigate without any crashes.
So the phone’s GPS/location itself appears to be working fine. The problem seems to occur specifically when **other apps try to access location or open a location-related interface/API**.
I have already contacted the customer support teams of the affected apps, but they said there is no issue from their side.
I have also checked that:
* Nothing Phone (1) is updated to the latest available software
* All affected apps are updated
* Location/GPS is enabled
* Google Maps works normally
I’ve attached a video showing the issue as well.
Has anyone else using a **Nothing Phone (1)** experienced this recently?
Could this be related to **Nothing OS, Google Play Services, Android System WebView, location permissions, the Android location API, or some other system-level service**?
If anyone has experienced this and found a fix, please let me know. It is becoming quite frustrating because I’m sometimes **unable to change my delivery address or track an ongoing delivery**.
Any help or troubleshooting suggestions would be greatly appreciated. 🙏
