Rob I really loved the Camera samples of it, wish to have one to capture some stunning shots with the nothing phone 2a and I really want to work with nothing.

hi, im a fan of these phone, i would love to purchase one, can anyone help me where i can find it in a physical store? im a seafarer and can only go out once per cruise(10 days), our home port is civitavecchia, italy, and can only go out for 2hrs. i tried buying on amazon.it even though they dont support english language(tried my best to translate) but to only cancelled because our company’s warehouse wont accept it because it might be stolen or lost in the warehouse. i still have 7months onboard and sadly i dont have a phone right now because it accidentally fell on the sea , im just borrowing my colleagues phone to communicate. please help

I recently got the 2a and I am amazed with the quality and user experience on a phone that is so affordable. This is my introduction into the Nothing ecosystem, and I am so impressed. The phone has already received three updates, which shows the commitment from Nothing. The phone is so fun to use! I am impressed with the cameras, which keep getting better with updates. The phone is snappy and I love Nothing OS. It looks unique and is so easy to navigate. The Glyph interface adds another layer of usefulness and makes Nothing unique. The camera quality is excellent for a phone in this price range. I was using a flagship Samsung phone prior to this and I can honestly say, I don’t feel like I took a step down by getting the 2a.

Rob after the new update.. portrait photos has definitely improved but.. fingerprint scanner unlocking animation is still not smooth

Does anyone feel that sometimes when u try to open and close the camera app, while closing it shows lag or frame drops! It may happen after u click photos and close the camera app.

Adaptive brightness is turning off automatically. Is anyone else facing this issue?

Firstly many congratulations for the new and successful launch of nothing phone 2a. I am also using it. I just want to request to add more details in pedometer widget it only show walking and persentage if it shows more like no. Of steps and distance it will be great.

And thank you for designing such a great device in India. OS is on next level. Touch and display is soo smooth no words. Nothing keeping launch your devices. And less glyph look good I love it. Please in next update bring more ringtones and wallpapers.

Skbuddy I agree, some animations are still laggy.

Abhi10 although it’s a 7200 pro chip but still gives less performance than 7200. I don’t understand it.

I purchased the new Nothing 2a and after use for around 3 weeks I’m not 100% happy with the performance of the phone.

Yes it does give a premium look and feel, but the camera experience can be better, there are still some glitches.

The double tap sleep and wake is unresponsive most of the times.

Charging the phone is a task even with rapid charging. My OnePlus Nord2 even after 3 years of continuous use charges from 20-100 in 20min, while Nothing takes eternity to charge. Min time from 20-100 is 40min. Yes the battery does last longer than OnePlus which is a plus point.

I hope some updates are done in these cases as well as these performance issues will somehow will effect the brand.

Anonymous74 That’s a bit of a push man , I mean after the latest camera update, the selfie camera is easily a 10/10 now but video quality, rear camera and HDR performance is not upto the mark man.

i’m currently using the new Phone 2(a), and the experience is impeccable. All my friends, especially iPhone users, love the design and the OS, and i can say proudly that this budget phone gives a great competition to the leaders. only stuff that i’d like to suggest is:

1. Camera: The zoom quality can be enhanced, as in increasing the clarity of it.
2. Fonts: The Nothing OS is already so good, if we get Nothing Font(s), it’ll be a fabulous thing.
3. A.I.: As y’all might be knowing, A.I. is a major table turner in the mobile phone industry, and Apple and Samsung, especially Samsung are taking a good advantage of it like editing photos, erasing people, smart searching like long holding and circling the thing.

These are the few things that i figured out about how the consumer needs can be better satisfied, they already are, but just a bit more.

1. Battery draining very fast
2. Performance drop- after new update bgmi frame rate dropping nearly 35 and closing app automatically and lots of gitter during playing
3. Charging is not fast even with the brand 65 Watt charger and little heating while charging
4. Selfie camera needs to be optimised not much clearer photos as expected from 32 MP camera
5. Back camera potrait mode also need optimisation and overall performance is not stable
