I just have purchased my Nothing Phone 2 from Flipkart on 29.02.2024. Performance of the device is insanely fast no doubt but I found it disbursing to notice some major quality control issues on the handset. It has misaligned panels underneath the glass (which should not as it is transparent), gap between back glass and the metal frame in the corners & moreover dust particle (though it is tiny but still) inside which is clearly visible with naked eyes. This is my second nothing product and I must say I am really disappointed with both of products. First one was Nothing ear 1 which got de-glued within a year. All the photos I have shared in this thread. In first instance, for ear1, I thought it was their first product and might have some flaws but for nothing phone 2, that too after about 1 year from the launch date, it is hard to believe that they are really working hard in R&D & quality control. Therefore, my suggestion would be to keep perfection in every aspect before packaging the product as NOTHING has long way to go and I am one of the biggest fan of Carl…from the Oneplus1 days….

        Well, I bought my first nothing product (2a) and there is dust underneath the transparent plastic, plus just like on the phone 2 in this post, the transparent back plastik is also misaligned…

        I have the same issue with the backglass, but I noticed that the price has increased after I bought mine (Price Increase: 550€-730€). Maybe they also changed the build quality? Idk, I think ill not replace my Phone (2) but instead just buy the Phone (3) when it comes out.

        I have a 2a plus and the same dirt particles in the back cover. Really disappointed.

          On my Nothing Phone 1, the back panel has started to come off at the top after 2 years of use. Dust has been getting in for about a year, but I only recently noticed that the top part of the panel is loose and detaching. The saddest part is that the camera lenses are glued to this panel, meaning the cameras have no additional protection, which allows dust to get under them as well.

          I think it’s the manufacturer they have chosen, probably aren’t the best in the industry due to Nothing as a new brand and larger factories is not willing to work with them. I do hope they can fix the problem soon tho, I’ve got a couple dust particles inside the back after just half a month of ownership.
