All phone prices have gone up, regardless which release of 2026 (and even still late 2025) you are looking at, prices went up all the way.
Critical components have increased in demand (mostly due to AI buildup) and thus in price literally everywhere, that is especially true for memory and storage. Additionally due to the unfortunately still raising global conflicts, general prices for energy and shipping have raised, meaning raised production costs in the end.
For companies it’s pretty much impossible to sell phones at last year prices anymore. Even Samsung offered very poor launch promotions this year when they launched their Galaxy S26 and Galaxy Fold flagships, even they simply can’t afford low discounted prices anymore. It’s also likely the major reason why Nothing decided against a new CMF phone this year.
I am located in Germany, so I don’t know if there are any typical seasonal events with discounted prices in India, however here in the west the next happening would be around late November, when all those US inspired Black Week, Black Friday and Cyber Monday events are starting, usually you’ll find discounted tech at retailers and brands directly. I think also Flipkart has at least one annual sales event kind of like Amazon’s Prime Day, where Nothing products at least partly were discounted in the past.
