When it available?
I dont think they give this to us..
rahullede No, thank you. Adding “Dynamic Island” to Android is like finding a solution of a problem that doesn’t exists. iPhones have a large pilled shaped camera area and they utilised that space to make it useful. On the other hand Android doesn’t have that issue, yet some Chinese OEMs started to copy it, and in the end they managed to copy only the look of it, this large pill is now hiding useful notification icons and status bar icons.
I hope Nothing will never add this just for the aesthetic purposes.
Why would someone need the dynamic island on nothing phone? Camera punchhole has been developing to become as small as possible and now you want to artificially enlarge it? To reduce the usable screen area? Why? I get that it looks kind of cool but does it really worth it?
It’s inevitable, it’s a matter of time. All OS on Android already implemented it (OneUI, HyperOS, OxygenOs, RealmeUI). Nothing should keep up and do something as well. Maybe something unique.
Yes, you can have a Dynamic Island-like feature on the Nothing Phone 2 by using third-party apps such as Dynamic Spot. While it’s not a native feature of Nothing OS, these apps can replicate the functionality, allowing you to interact with notifications and shortcuts similarly to Apple’s Dynamic Island. However, the experience may not be as seamless as on iOS devices.
Is there a possibility we can get a dynamic island on nothing phones ? It really looks cool
